Digital Preservation and Self Archiving Policy

About IJAST Digital preservation policy

IJAST follows SARES publishing produces, high-value scientific information for the scholarly community and as all of our content is published online. We are acutely aware of the need to ensure permanent availability of, and access to, these resources. We therefore have an archiving policy in place through which we are committed to preserving our online content in archiving services.
All IJAST Publishing online journals are archived in Internet Archive to ensure that these resources are preserved in the long term:

Preprint:

Authors are not permitted to deposit or share the submitted version of their manuscript (preprint) in any personal, institutional, or subject repositories. This policy aims to prevent possible confusion, misinterpretation, and versioning issues.

Postprint (Accepted Manuscript):

Authors are not permitted to archive or distribute the accepted manuscript (after peer review but before publisher formatting) in any repositories or platforms. Restricting the use of postprints helps to ensure clarity and consistency by directing readers exclusively to the official published version.

Published Version (Version of Record):

The final published PDF may only be hosted on the IJAST website. Authors are encouraged to share the DOI or permanent link to the official publication instead of uploading the file elsewhere.
